The National Museum in Warsaw along with its branches is closed to visitors until further notice

As of this Thursday, 12 March 2020, the National Museum in Warsaw along with its branches is closed to visitors until further notice.
 
All exhibition openings, concerts, guided tours, classes, workshops and lectures planned for this time are cancelled. Commercial photo shoots, recordings and conferences are also called off. Museum’s Reading Room and Archive will be closed. Execution of queries is suspended.
 
The cafe is also closed. The Sculpture Park is open since April 20.
 
All organized groups and individuals who purchased tickets for Museum’s exhibitions or to take part in Museum’s events are offered to change their tickets to open tickets without specified date. On special request, we offer refund which will be made after the National Museum is reopened to visitors (please contact us by email: ). 
 
We will keep you updated about any changes in the functioning of the Museum.
 
The decision to close cultural institutions was made by the crisis staff along with the Minister of Culture and National Heritage prof. dr hab. Piotr Gliński.
