CITY WALK: 1, 2, 3... Big Brother is Watching – the Sculptures of the Northern Areas of Central Warsaw, part 1

What does a considerable flock of hens do on the courtyard of the Ministry of Finance? How did famous sculptresses embellish the centre of the city? Which insurance company came up with an advertising campaign that relied on... a return to good old ancient roots.
These are the questions we will investigate during the tour of the northern areas of Central Warsaw.
Meeting: 29th august (Saturday), noon, in front of Kinoteka
The cycle was created by Hanna Dzielińska – journalist, Warsaw guide, awarded 2nd prize in the competition for the commemoration of the Great Synagogue in Warsaw (May 2013).
The tour accompanies the exhibition Figures of Speech. The Architectural Sculpture of Warsaw 1918-1970
