EDUCATION PROGRAMME around the Exhibition “Figures of Speech”
The Exhibition “Figures of Speech. The Architectural Sculpture of Warsaw 1918 – 1970” is accompanied by an extensive education programme that responds to various needs, levels of expertise and age groups of our guests.
A cycle of family workshops explores the themes of the show in a way that is perfectly appropriate for the youngest audiences of the Museum of Sculpture. The meetings profit from the exhibition that is currently on view at the Królikarnia Palace in order to reveal the practical aspects of dealing with architectural sculpture. Sometimes, the investigations lead behind the scenes of the show, for example, during workshops in preservation. The cycle offers children and accompanying adults a first-hand experience of the technological and conceptual complexity that characterised the work of a sculptor who delivered public commissions.
